Your first visit at our office will include a free consultation, physical exam, diagnosis, and treatment.
Before your consultation begins you'll need to fill out the standard paperwork, once you've finished, the doctor will want to get a complete medical history background along with an understanding of what you're going through now.
Some of the questions we will ask include:
- When did you begin to feel pain?
- Do you know why the pain started?
- Were you involved in an accident?
- Are there activities that make your pain better or worse?
- Can you describe your pain in detail?
- Is your pain constant?
After you've answered all of our questions, we can begin the physical exam to evaluate your muscle strength, balance, and range of motion. We will then complete a series of x-rays to help determine the underlying cause of your pain.
When your x-rays are completed the chiropractor will be able to make a diagnosis and provide you with a treatment plan. You will receive your first chiropractic adjustments once all of the testing is complete and a diagnosis has been made.
