Dr. Valerie Walton is Arrowhead Clinic’s Lithia Springs Chiropractor. She provides treatment to a wide variety of accident injury victims as well as to people who suffer from chronic pain. Dr. Walton was born in California and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She began her Undergraduate studies in Biology at The College of Charleston and later transferred to Life University in Marietta, GA. She finished her Bachelor's Degree concurrently while acquiring her Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree in 2018. While studying at Life, Dr. Walton always knew she had a passion for helping people achieve better health. While interning with a Chiropractic Neurologist, Dr. Walton learned how structure equals function. Her background with health and fitness was a huge part of how she got into Chiropractic. Dr. Walton now educates her patients on the health and performance benefits of regular wellness-based chiropractic care. People tell her they appreciate her "patient-focused" practice. Understanding the importance of integrating natural healthcare into mainstream medicine, Dr. Walton works closely with medical doctors when referrals and co-management are appropriate. Dr. Walton utilizes a wide range of techniques that are gentle and low-impact, including Activator instrument adjusting. She is proficient in several manual techniques, including traditional hands-on Diversified Adjusting, Extremity Manipulation, SOT, Thompson, and Flexion-Distraction, to name a few. Her specialties include rehabilitating disc injuries, automobile accidents, and soft tissue injuries. Dr. Walton is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in Georgia. She is board certified in Radiography, Physiotherapy, X-ray operation/supervision.
